How LA anglers actually fish them

Current CDFW regulations

  • Size limit: No minimum
  • Bag / possession: No bag limit (Pacific and jack mackerel are listed as no-limit species under T14 CCR §27.60(b))
  • Season: Open year-round

Pier anglers are still limited to two rods (CCR §28.65(b)).
