Legg Lake, Whittier Narrows

Legg Lake easy, flat shoreline and regular stocking schedule make it one of the most family- and kid-friendly fishing spots in the county, with bluegill, redear, and carp providing reliable year-round action between trout plants. CDFW Fishing in the City has used North Legg for winter events. Crowds follow the plant truck; midweek is a different lake.
