Marina del Rey Harbor

The harbor mouth at Marina del Rey concentrates baitfish and current, which makes it a reliable halibut drift on an incoming tide. It is primarily a boat and kayak spot. Leopard sharks and bat rays cruise the same sand. The north and south jetties are CDFW-listed public-pier structures (license-free on the qualifying jetty, license required on adjacent rock walls that touch land).
